The Municipality is host to 32 Nursery Schools comprising of 26 public schools, 03 Catholic schools, 01 Presbyterian school, 01 Islamic and 01 lay private schools. Also, there are 53 Primary schools comprising of 44 public, 03 Catholic, 02 Presbyterian, 01 Baptist, 01 Islamic, and 02 Lay private. Annex 1 presents the situation of the Nursery and Primary schools in the Municipality. Map 6 shows the spatial distribution of Nursery and Primary schools.
The Municipality is host to 21 Secondary general and technical schools distributed as follows: 08 General High schools, 02 GBHS, 03 GSS, 01 GTHS and 04 GTC, 01 missionary high school and 01 lay private secondary school.
